Wivelsfield Green 4, Turners Hill 3
Wivelsfield Green found themselves 3 – 1 down with an hour played against Turners Hill despite having the majority of the play. Top scorer Gavin McIntosh had given them an early lead but a combination of hesitant defending and clinical finishing had put Hill in the driving seat. Shane Christie converted a penalty and Veteran Micky Everest slid home a glorious equaliser before super sub Danny Butson nipped in 5 minutes from time to win an entertaining and physical encounter.

Franklands Village 1, Wivelsfield Green 3
Wivelsfield Green found the going tough early on against Franklands Village but managed to eventually find their rhythm. Captain Mark Fotiadis headed the first and Gavin McIntosh added a second shortly after to give the Green a 2 – 0 half time lead. Village enjoyed a lot of possession in the second half and pulled a goal back on the hour but the Green always looked menacing on the break and Declan Murphy sealed the win late on.

Scaynes Hill II 4, Wivelsfield Green II 6
A Gareth Thomas hatrick helped Wivelsfield Green seconds on their way to a comfortable 6 – 4 win over Scaynes Hill seconds. Dan Butson notched a brace with Alex Stephenson completed the scoring. Central midfield pairing of Andrew Charles-Smith and Rudi Jones both put in commanding displays and bossed the game throughout.

Felbridge 1, Wivelsfield Green 1
Wivelsfield Green picked up there first away points of the season with a hard fought draw at Felbridge. Despite bossing the first half the Green found themselves a goal down when a deflected free kick sneaked in at the near post. Felbridge changed formation at half time and enjoyed a lot of possession but couldn’t break down a determined away defence, and in a rare Wivelsfield attack Tim Reynolds inch perfect cross was slotted home by Gavin McIntosh for the equalizer.

Wivelsfield Green 4, Handcross Village 1
Wiveslfield Green went into their league encounter with Handcross pointless fom their opening 7 games so a win was very much needed. The Green took a slender 1 goal advantage into the break, but stepped up a gear in the second half, centre back Dave Kateley tapped in a second before MoM Adie Moore ran the full length of the pitch to bury a third. Gavin McIntosh curled home a fourth and Handcross hit a consolation strike near the end.
